Windermere's 8,000 agents in its offices around the West spend one day each year away from the office to participate in the annual Windermere Community Service Day. The agents decide on a community-based project, and provide hands-on assistance for the day.
It is typically the 3rd Friday in June. Park City Senior Center, The Peace House, Family Promise, House of Hope, are just a few non profit organizations that we, here in Summit County and SLC, have spent our community service day. Some of the projects include painting, gardening, building privacy walls, fixing up playgrounds, basically anything the organization needs. It is a full day of service when we turn off our cell phones, roll up our sleeves and get to work.
